Legendary survivor help
I have survivor with 160,000 exp and I am wondering if there is an easy way to get the Legendary surviror title. My character is a Paragon with access to all 3 games.

The only "easy ways" are leeching and power-levelling which, frankly, cheapens the title and leeching makes a lot of people very very cross - don't ever do it. I would urge you to work for the title so that you get a sense of accomplishment.
Personally, I am going for Legendary Survivor on a Ranger. I need another 240,000XP. Good luck with yours. Just play through all the games and do all the side quests. And remember one thing: Know when you're out-matched. |

I finished up my LS title recently (yesterday, actually ). The best advice I can offer is to switch secondaries constantly and cap every elite skill you can find. I ended up having 133 elites when I reached Legendary status. If you do the math, that's nearly half of all the XP you need.
Beyond that there are other options, some less lame than others. I don't recommend this at all, but being the doorman for FFF seems to be a popular means of grinding with virtually zero risk of death. There's also solo farming. As I know almost nothing about paragons, I'll leave that one up to you. You've probably already realized that playing with humans (even trustworthy ones) is a bad idea. The heroes and henchmen are usually predictable and won't ever ragequit on you. If you decide to play with people anyway, as Celestial Beaver mentioned, don't ever leech in a group or F12 out when things get rough. That's just a dick move. It might be good to know that I found the first tier of Survivor to be much more difficult to reach than the other two. It took me thirteen attempts before I got there, and then it was with that same character I achieved LS. |

Don't forget to ascend in Tyria for the 50,000 xp which greatly helped my Paragon reach LS. I also took advantage of the double xp for elites weekend a few weeks back and reached the magic # that weekend - going from about 900,000 to 1,340,000 then. I also avoided Vizunah, after doing all the Canthan quests available up to that location. In Tyria, I halted my forward progress after THK - Fire Islands are a bad place for survivors, especially if you are henching/heroing for the most part which I do. In Nightfall, since I mistakenly chose Margrid, I stopped mission progress at Dasha, another nasty location, at least until I got the title. Didn't need to do any solo farming or anything, but I did farm SS points for double xp in Arkjok, until I reached the limit there. In all, it took about 100 hours.

I'm working on LS title as well. I've been hitting the quests that you can get in cantha before vizunah square, that's 40-50,000 XP in quest rewards. Another thing I'm doing is farming Lightbringer points outside of Dzagonur Bastion in the Mirror of Lyss. Using the bounty + a scroll of hero's insight while clearing out the east side of the Mirror nets me about 2,600XP every 10 minutes. (I keep going until the scroll times out)

I disagree with some of the above comments. There's no reason to avoid the Ring of Fire or the entirety of Cantha. I hero/henched all the way through the end of Prophecies with little trouble. I had only finished up through Consulate Docks in NF so I had access to only seven heroes; I opted for Jin if that matters to anyone. Although I didn't use her frequently, the Broad Head build she had was invaluable in certain situations.
Similarly, with heroes there's little reason to fear Vizunah Square. A Minion Master and two Searing Flames nukers (even mediocre ones: I used Dunkoro and Tahlkora as Mo/E) will rip through the mission easily. My counterpart from the Local Quarter was terribly inept and still I had no problems getting the Master's reward on the first try. Also, you can close out the game window if people won't skip the end cutscene. I know it's supposed to be fixed, but there are lots of conflicting reports so I opted to take the safer route. I never had to repeatedly clear the same explorable area, nor did I want to. And I never used a single scroll along the way. There's a ton of XP out there in the form of quests and missions if you just play through the game(s). It requires more patience and concentration, but you won't ever be bored and you can work on other titles at the same time. |
